DESCRIPTION:GACC members meet for a program and dinner at 6 p.m. Speaker to be announced.\nFree to members; $5 for guests\n \n\n \nPhyllis Cosantino is our guest speaker. She will show photos and discuss this spring’s tour of Germany, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium that celebrated the 300th anniversary of Germans settling in Louisiana. It was the Louisiana German Coast Tricentennial Tour, visiting the areas that our first German immigrants came from starting in 1721.\nAnd Just in time for the GACC’s September 24 Oktoberfest, we will have a silent auction of a dirndl (women’s traditional dress), donated by member Celeste Apostolo. Ladies, we think you’ll like it! The meal will be from Gattuso’s Restaurant and of course we will have German beer and wine as well as our baked pretzels. We look forward to seeing everyone!\n
