Salem German Heritage Event at the GACC 2023

Salem German Heritage Event at 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Gretna’s early German residents founded Salem Lutheran Church in 1871. On Saturday, July 22, we have an opportunity to celebrate Salem’s history of 150+ years at the “Salem German Heritage Social.” It will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. at the German-American Cultural Center, 519 Huey P. Long Avenue, featuring German beer, wine, refreshments and music. The GACC Museum also will be open that evening.

Tickets are available now at the GACC for a $15 donation per person. You can also purchase tickets at Salem Church and at the Gretna Welcome Center, 1035 Huey P. Long Avenue. It will be a fun event, don’t miss it!
