GACC August Dinner

GACC members meet for a program and dinner at 6 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Amanda Fallis, librarian and archivist at the New Orleans Public Library, who will talk about the genealogy tools available through the library for family history research. We hope to see you there.

We have important news — our monthly meetings are moving to Salem Lutheran Church (at the corner of Fourth and Amelia Streets) in Gretna. This change is the result of the renovation work going on at the 519 Huey P. Long Avenue building that houses our museum.

We think you will enjoy the new location in Salem’s Schmid Hall. After all, Salem was founded by German immigrants! Many thanks go out to Salem for hosting us.
