GACC November Dinner

GACC members meet for a program and dinner at 6 p.m.

Members’ meeting, 6 p.m., Salem Lutheran Church. Guest speakers will be GACC director Carol Schlueter, talking about the Germans who came to the West Bank, and genealogist Pat Smith.

We have important news — our monthly meetings are moving to Salem Lutheran Church (at the corner of Fourth and Amelia Streets) in Gretna. This change is the result of the renovation work going on at the 519 Huey P. Long Avenue building that houses our museum.

We think you will enjoy the new location in Salem’s Schmid Hall. After all, Salem was founded by German immigrants! Many thanks go out to Salem for hosting us.
