Oktoberfest 2026

Saturday, October 17 – 10am to 3pm

Join us on Saturday, October 17, for the GACC’s annual Oktoberfest Bier Garten. It’s 10 am to 3 pm on our parking lot at Sixth Street and Huey P. Long Avenue. Of course, we will be grilling brats, baking pretzels and preparing our homemade sauerkraut. The German beer and wine will be chilled and ready. Two German bands will be playing — Ira Milan’s Polka Band in the morning and Bier Musikanten from Deutsches Haus in the afternoon. The weather should be perfect! Prost!

(NOTE: Our regular meeting at Salem will NOT BE HELD in October.)

Cost: Free admission. Food and drinks available for purchase.
