“This site here shall be a platform, to make people network for the benefit of our heritage, our children and our country. We want to introduce German culture and bring specifically German-American culture ahead.”

Germerica has links to all 50 states as well as 13 chapters. It is the perfect website to find everything German-American!

The website also features information about the 300th anniversary of Germans arriving in Louisiana and settling in the German Coast area. Check it out here: http://louisiana300.germerika.net/

Visit Our Museum

Step inside the GACC Museum and go back in time to 1721, when German immigrants first settled in Louisiana. You’ll learn about the waves of German pioneers that followed them to establish homes, farms and businesses across the river from New Orleans.
