The GACC is proud to be a regional partner with Germerika, an online network that showcases German-American museums, historic sites, restaurants and events in all 50 states. Based in Germany, the network connects about 50 million German-Americans.

Jay Schexnaydre will give a presentation on the 300th anniversary of Germans arriving in Louisiana when our monthly members’ meeting is held on March 19.

What would Maifest be without a Maypole dance? With two Maypoles on the Huey Long neutral ground, Gretna held Maifest on May 14-15, 2001.

After more than 80 years, a small gold cross is returned to its owners in a sweet presentation at a GACC meeting.
